    Default Aset ka

I know there is another thread concerning their book, but I just wanted to ask what the thoughts on them are/if anyone knows anything about them. I bought their book and while what I've read seems interesting, it really just seems like Egyptian mythology with vampirism thrown into the mix. And I absolutely cannot find any information on them aside from reference to their book. The same guy on multiple forums promoting it and their website just references the book. Even with closed lip organizations like the Temple of Set information can be found. So I'm leaning towards that this is just a book and there is no organization behind it, interesting and thought out as it is.

They are an organization but they are very secretive and hidden. They only elect their kind into the mix. They have relations with the ONA as well.

They also have similar spiritual technology to many others except their transformation was not Self-Made but made by the divine authority of Aset.

I personally don't like them because any group that seeks to rule me is my mortal foe.

This would be the guy that 'promoted' the book and I am as well a member of the Temple of Set.

My involvement with Kemetic Order of Aset Ka was a four year interaction with high ranking members of the Order as well as the author of the book. Since then I have relinquished my relations with all of them and have became a Setian Initiate.

Their Egyptology is flawed, their understanding of the Left Hand Path is equally flawed.
Their use of vampirism is just like any other unsubstantiated occult practice, I don't believe they are spiritual children of Egyptian Goddess Aset.

I do not wish to sit here and bad-mouth them, I did find the author Luis Marques to be a genuinely knowledgeable occultist, and I did learn a bit during my stay.

If I may ask, what answers are you looking for within the Aset Ka paradigm?

Do you have any proof of that? The four years I spent with them I never heard a peep of the ONA, which doesn't mean they do not have relations.

I'm not necisarily looking for "answers", there really aren't any answers other than what I discover works for me. My answers may not be your answers. But I like to learn from different groups and philosophies that intrigue me and if I learn something of value(meaning I feel drawn to it, or that it works for me) that I am able to incorporate into my rituals and life than wonderful. I got the book because I love the Egyptian paradigm. I feel drawn to their gods and the forces and energy at work there. I also am interested in vampirism and have been practicing with energy work for the last few years.

You're in the Temple of Set? I've been thinking about joining them over the last few years. I like what they have to say and the emphasis put on the power of the self. After doing research I have finally reached a point in my life where I feel I could devote a lot of time to my spiritual advancement(I have overcome many struggles, and emerged from a darkness that had consumed and clouded most of my life I'm assuming the ToS is still very active? I'm preparing to write my admissions letter here in the next day or so and apply to become a member. I like their philosophy and feel I would have a lot to gain from being a member

I heard this from a member of the Order of Aset Ka.
I'm not sure if it is valid, I took their word for it.

Aset Ka members are pretty rare to come by, I might expect this to be conjecture by that person.

Ironically there IS a connection between the Temple of Set and ONA . . . and that would be ex-Setian Michael W. Ford . . . such a small World!

The Temple is still VERY active. Many of us come to the Temple after we have exhausted all the different Paths and Belief systems, only to discover that the Temple has exactly what we have been looking for all along.

I wish you the best in your Admission Letter, if I can be of any assistance don't hesitate to ask.

** Pardon my brief derailment of the thread
