Default I want to create a tulpa.

I of the risk involved, I know it may take a very long time, and I know that magic isn't a game. But I still want to try. Does anybody know of any guides on making them? Google doesn't turn up very much.

A tulpa or Thoughtform is very much like a software or a robot , and to create a robot or software you need the correct tools, and those tools are not avaliable for an untrained mind , even if you do want to create it , without the proper preparation, discipline and determination you will fail and become frustrated. Thoughtforms should not be created to interfere in other people lifes and for material needs. And I must tell that the thoughtform is a very fragile artificial being , i prefer to use a personal egregory which is much more powerfull and wont stop without acomplishing the mission .Comparing a Thoughtform with an egregory it is like comparing the robot from Jetsons with the Terminator T-1000, the robot from jetsons will try to do it one time and if it fails it will imediatelly return to the host (in this case you) , and the T-1000 will break walls take down anyone , and will never give up .

Interesting post. And an Egregore can be a collaboration correct?

It sounds like the OP just wants an Eidolon or something, not an assassin.
