    Post Dangerous Self Hypnotism: Lie Mechanics, Memory Alteration and More

    Before I get started, let me say that the things mentioned in this relative short post are HIGHLY DANGEROUS. Fucking with your personality, your mind, your ego, or anything else that I mention is recommended ONLY to advanced, long-time practitioners of magick, who are highly versed in the esoteric, have performed lots ceremonial magick, astral projected, contacted their HGA, etc. etc. I’ll start out with “beginner” stuff first, and try to keep it as plain and simple as possible. This **** is NOT easy. It’s not for the faint of mind, and it will almost certainly damage you in the long run if misused or done improperly. You’ve been warned.

    Let me also add that the reason for the multiple posts is the character limit.

    Now that that’s out of the way, it’s on to the fun stuff.

    ======SYNOPSIS OF/INTRODUCTION TO: LIES======
    Lying is a science, as well as an art. When you consciously lie, there’s a part of your brain which knows that it’s lying, at least at some subconscious level or other. You’ll give this away with subtle eye movements, tone, posture, even pheromones – yes, pheromones. People who are used to being lied to, or people who are adept at discerning lies, will be able to tell immediately if they’re being lied to. Some people, however, become so good at lying consciously that they can control these impulses. Other people develop a mechanism in their brain in which they BELIEVE whatever lies they say themselves, consequentially removing these subconscious signals from the equation. The latter is FAR more dangerous, but also much easier to accomplish, and if you’re relatively new to the mind-altering game, will prepare you for memory-altering and eventually personality-changing.

    -==LYING THROUGH DISCIPLINE==-
    This one is the hardest of the two, and the easiest to botch – though it’s a handy skill to know, because there will be times when you cannot convince yourself of a lie, should you choose to go that avenue at some point in your life. Let me explain what I mean:
    Remember that time when you broke your mother’s favourite vase? Oh ****, was she ever mad. You had a very convincing story for the whole thing, and even had a scapegoat. But your mother still knew it was you. Why was that? Was it the way you shuffled your feet when you were accused, the way you averted your eyes when she looked at you, or maybe the way you stammered when you explained how you saw poor old Donny break the vase with your own two eyes?
    It’s hard to keep an eye out for your own subconscious, as most of the time we act on impulse. However, it IS relatively simple to implant a trigger in your mind that enables you to become “aware” of times when you’re lying, and behave accordingly. You can do this however you please; with traditional means, sigils, whatever works best for you.
    That’s all very well and good, but it can be hard to be conscious of your subconscious actions when you’re in a stressful situation. This is why the best triggers are emotional triggers. My personal favourite is the “anger” response. When someone calls someone who’s telling the truth a liar, the instinctual thing for that person to do is become offended. We feel wronged and untrusted. If we were, on the other hand, in fact lying, we might respond by being defensive, since we feel more like we deserve to be wronged.
    My favourite trigger, and one I use personally, is that whenever I’m accused of lying (trigger), I instinctually flip out (consequence). This works wonders, as it not only puts the person who’s accusing you on the defensive, it reprimands them for questioning your honesty, and makes THEM feel like they’ve been wrong to mistrust you.

    Alternatively to all of this, one could always go the Gurdjieff route and focus on higher levels of awareness.
    There’s a cool exercise which involves showering. The next time you’re in the shower, state random facts to yourself as if you were talking to someone. Pay close attention to the way in which you say things. Then, misconstrue those facts, and say it with the same mannerisms as before. You can try this on some friends or strangers, and see if they catch you, once you’re confident enough.
    Or, you could simply make conscious/subconscious? attempts to become more confident. Liars are rarely confident in what it is they’re lying about, and this eliminates the nervousness factor. It also makes the person you’re lying to reluctant to call you out on a lie, and if they’re doubting your honesty, can cause them to doubt themselves instead. If you got lying to yourself down pat, you could even convince yourself that you ARE confident – and you will be!

    -==LYING THROUGH BELIEF==-
    Yes, indeed. If you can believe whatever lie you say, then you will have no stimuli to provoke those nasty subconscious giveaways. This also helps by making you convincibly ignorant in appearance, so that even if you are ever found out, there’s a chance that you’ll still be “let go” and trusted.
    There are a couple really nasty tricks to getting good at this. One involves a spatula, a tuning fork, and a condom (if you’re a male and it’s Tuesday) – we won’t be going in to this one, unfortunately. But my favourite is simply to forget that you’re lying.
    That’s actually pretty simple. It’s accomplished by not thinking about what you’re saying AS IT’S SAID. You think a thing, and then you say it. If you have trouble with that, you can practice by doing the same exercise mentioned in “lying through discipline”, but this time, without thinking about anything you’re saying.
    The only problem with this school of lying is that, when someone calls you out, it has a tendency to kind of “break the spell”. You stop lying subconsciously, and begin thinking of rational lies and explanations for any holes in your story. This is where the trigger from “lying through discipline” comes in EXTREMELY handy, so I highly recommend implementing that trigger in conjunction with this school.

    ====== SYNOPSIS OF/INTRODUCTION TO: MEMORY ALTERING======
    Memories are what defines us as people. Memories shape our personalities, and are responsible for everything we ever learned or believed. Almost ALL memories are good. However, there are a few “harmful” memories that people may want to omit, or memories that people may want to change. Some people do this automatically as a defense mechanism for past trauma; this is known as “repressing” a memory.
    Repressed memories can easily resurface if replaced by a constructed reality. All that need be done is to have said reality conflict with another perceived reality. Other things that can cause repressed memories to surface are involuntary triggers, if the memory is traumatic/”memorable” enough.
    All of this said, inducing the voluntary repression of a memory is relatively difficult. Replacing it is even harder, and constructing new memories from scratch would be a great challenge. All of these are very difficult, and most are not beneficial. “Editing” a memory, however, is rather easy, and is not covered here because it can be accomplished by simply lying to yourself. Now, let us begin.

    -==MEMORY REPRESSION==-
    This is the easiest of these difficult tasks (outside of editing), and can be done in a few ways. The most common means to accomplish this is astral projection/lucid dreaming if you’re alone, or guided meditation if you have a partner you trust. Guided meditation is the safest.
    To omit the memory, you’ll want to construct a “dead spot” in your brain where that memory is. This is done by reenacting past and future “surrounding” memories in the most vivid way possible, skipping the memory you want to omit. If done enough times, your mind will “misplace” the respective image outside of it’s appropriate chronological place. This will make it seem surreal, and given enough time, the memory will be safely regressed. With astral projection, there’s always the possibility that you will REMEMBER the thing you’re trying to forget through trying to remember the memories that go around it, which is why I highly recommend at least weekly guided meditation for… well, however long it takes.
    (If you want to make this easier, you could also edit the memory to be nothing more than a mundane day. Over time, you will forget about said day entirely.)
    Another method to omit a memory involves simply convincing yourself that it’s false. This has purportedly lead to schizophrenia, psychopathy, and various other kinds of psychotic conditions. I am loathe to try it myself, but it IS sound in theory.
    Alternatively, you could simply create a sigil with the intent of removing the memory from your mind, perform some kind of ritual of your own device, or chant a mantra to forget about said memory. Although, remember, the best means to cope with a memory is to actually learn from it and accept it.

    -==MEMORY REPLACEMENT==-
    Contrary to some schools of thought, memories can be REPLACED. If you are good enough at lying to yourself that you can edit a memory, you can also replace one. This is done by constructing an elaborate memory, and then following the same basic principles as memory omission, but lying to yourself about the happening of another event in the omitted events place. This is especially easy with astral projection or guided meditation, as physically “living” it makes it MUCH more convincing to yourself. Additionally, because it fills the place of an omitted memory, it’s easier for you to believe (given that it takes place in an otherwise “blank” part of your brain, chronologically speaking. Your brain does have some residual memory of this kind of thing, and it WILL subconsciously bother you and force you to remember.).

    -==MEMORY ADDITION==-
    This is a tricky thing to do, even for experienced occultists. If it’s a mundane memory you want to add, you could simply lie to yourself and say that it happened, and after so long, you’ll believe it. However, if it’s something important – or something that takes place over a large expanse of time, you MUST use guided meditation. There is no other proven method that I’m aware of.
    To start, you want to think of a point in time BEFORE which this memory will take place, and relive that via guided meditation BI-WEEKLY, for at least a two month expanse of time. This keeps the memory fresh in your head. Once you are perfectly and acutely familiar with that point in time, you want to start integrating your new memory into the guided meditation.
    When I say you must relive it, I mean that. This could take a very long time. If you want to conjure up fake memories for a large expanse of time, you must live out the highlights and then later lie to yourself about the way your mediocre days were carried out. This is best done all in one sitting, and you absolutely must NOT think about your constructed memories outside of the guided meditation session(s).
    You’ll eventually come to the point where you remember your constructed memory without thinking about it being false. If you are building multiple memories in sessions, your partner needs to be able to identify when you actually believe the memories for yourself. At that point, the session(s) must never again be mentioned.
    I should mention that it is not practical for you to use scheduled sessions, and it is really best to have only one session for constructing multiple memories – unless you also have a means to remove subconscious triggers developed by having these sessions in the first place.

    =====SYNOPSIS OF/INTRODUCTION TO: SELF HYPNOSIS======
    We’re talking about auto-hypnosis and advanced triggers here. Sigil triggers, personality changing, and even self-induced comas and hallucinogenic states. This is as dangerous as it gets. I’m not joking. You WILL **** yourself up if you attempt some of this stuff and are not of a prepared state of mind. Beginners, turn back immediately.

    -==AUTHYPNOSIS==-
    What IS autohypnosis, exactly? Autohypnotism is a form of hypnotism like any other; and it uses suggestion and the subconscious to influence a person. The only difference is, in this case, the magician is suggesting to HIM/HER SELF. It’s applications vary from inducing sleep states, implanting triggers, causing hallucinogenic states (fantastic news for those of you paying for your psychedelics), and more experimentally personality changing.
    Autohypnosis works through self-suggestion, or autosuggestion. I simply do not have time to give you a tutorial on, or go over the intricacies of, autosuggestion, but if you simply google a how-to, you’ll come across some damn good tutorials and explanations. For instance, this one: http://goarticles.com/article/8-top-...stion/1002629/

    -==HALUCINOGENS==-
    This is a difficult thing to do. You’re essentially tricking your body into producing chemicals that induce hallucinations, and to do that, your brain needs to be able to associate something as inducing said hallucinations. Which means you need to get high.
    That’s right, in order to even attempt this, you have to have been high on some kind of psychedelic drug at least once – preferably more often. So if you’re not high right now, or you haven’t been high before, consider causing that somehow.
    Other than that, it’s really pretty simple. You can autohypnotise yourself to feel however you want, whenever you want. You can even implant triggers with unhappy emotions as the stimuli to make yourself happy whenever you’re not! Talk about meta.
    Inducing hallucinations, however, is sadly a conscious effort. You can do it in a lucid dream with relative ease, or through self-hypnosis with some patience. All you have to do, is convince yourself that you’re taking something hallucinogenic. Pretty much the placebo effect, but more fun. If you have some spare pill capsules, fill them with sugar, and this will be even easier. Just be certain to give yourself a trigger to bring you down off your high.

    -==PERSONALITY CHANGING==-
    This is coming soon. For now, I’m posting what I’ve got. I’ll edit this post when I have the time, and include a section on this.

    Tell me if this helps anyone, if you guys find this interesting/informative, or have dabbled in any of this before. Thank you for your time.
