An encounter of sorts...

Went to bed late last night, around 3am, but before I did, as usual I went downstairs and grabbed myself some water, I couldnt help but feel slightly uneasy for some reason, but I just shrugged it off, I was probably tired... so I thought!

On my way back up stairs I had a strange feeling but I just routinely started a simple blessing ritual for all the rooms (no equipment or anything needed)
By the time I blessed the entrence to my room I was prety confident that all was alright and there really wasnt anything but perhapse a touch of tiredness
but suddenly I decided to turn around and bless the entrance to my room from the inside... as I did this I felt a huge blast of heat comming from the entrence of my room, immediately followed by a strange voice kinda like a whisper but louder that seemed directed straight at me.

My first reaction was that of rationalisation... I thought it could be a family member talking int their sleep or breathing heavily... so i checked on them, they were completely lights out sleeping like loggs.
After that though I continued to complete my blessing without any hinderance... but the second I lay down I began to hear heavy breathing on the door... (if you've ever had a dog that sleeps right outside your bedroom nose to door then you've got an idea of what i mean... but i dont have dogs anymore) these minor disturbances carried on all night till morning light, each time I did check to see if windows were open, if the heating was on, if my family members were actually sleeping, if any radios were on... the lot, nothing on all of them.

What struck me was the heat, it only came from one direction, occurred immediately as I began to make a hand sign and was followed without delay by a voice though I cant tell if it had a gender or really what it was saying, sounded like it was saying a number of things all at once. Additionally I know it was there because I felt its vibration.

Heat, eh? sounds like a Djinn.

yes 3am i usely get attacked at that time. you know it is when the vale is the tinest and demons come out to play with us.. 3am the demonic hour.

Interesting Indeed, I have heard about the 3am thing, though im not sure i quite understand it. Siike92 have you had any other experiances with spirits/demons or disembodies voices before by any chance?
Additionally, this is not the first supposed demonic attack thats occured in my house, from the moment we moved in about 2 years or more ago I noticed the house had a verry different feel to any house I've ever stayed in before, certainly there were more arguements and tensions in this house between family members, and also I noticed that somehing kept tripping the infra red security alarms, even during the day, and even when no one at all was down stairs, I had to reset the whole system, but to no avail, eventually it stopped but we have no idea what that was about.
When i was down stairs at night id some times hear tapping inside a particular cupboard right till I opened it... there was nothing inside the cupboard to make that sound, not even any evidence of wood bugs.
all of this has been occuring over time and not all at once though.

In my dreams twice I've seen a spirit of sorts that tried to disguise its self as a girl to get past my defences, but fortunately I woke up both times.
Once however my mom told me after a troubled night that she encountered a rather unpleasant looking spirit that kept saying it was "here for your son" she said it looked like a very thin looking woman with burnt skin. Usually she picks up death energies of people that we have been in contact with previously, so she can tell when some one's just died no matter how far away they are and so far has never been wrong, as for my self I've only experianced a few premonitions, but of the living.
One of my most notable experiances was of having a conversation with a known named demon in a dream state, though I dont particularly want to mention its name here or anywhere for that mater.

oh and by the way Im quite sure it isnt the same demon I spoke with in my dream state, whilst that one was seemingly quite powerfull it didnt have any effect on me aside from the things it said.

Asside from that, Virus, I doubt that I've pissed anyone off recently... well maybe at work when a transaction got complicated and took ages and a customer got very miffed lol but thats about it.

Awakening? maybe, though I think the term "Rude awakening" would be more apt in this case.

How are you usually with psychic phenomina? does it occur often or every now and then or not at all with you? also you might want to examin your emotional state and whats going through your mind when this happens, you may want to keep a diary of sorts of your encounters, that'll be the best way to find out whats happening, see if you can find any patterns. It'll also help you in drawing a conclusion if something has actually decided to target you, though you'd probably need to do more sifting through the metaphorical and metaphysical sands to find out for sure.

As for awakening it's self, all i can say is that you'll be gaining access to a greater state of mind or perception, though what that is would be as individual as our finger prints, similar to some but more likely only you will know what that is when it happens.

It might not even be an awakening at all though, it could just be a figment of your imagination or a really really freaky thought form or otherwise some kind of spirit/ demon
by the way, appart from the voice did you experiance any other kinds of stimuli (temperature, smell ect...) or any other phenomena... stuff moving... soundless objects making sounds...?

I'm always skeptical, even when I've got a good idea of whats going on.
Still its best to keep an open mind to the possibilities of anything, so far as per my current experiance nothing more seems to have happened, but I'll post if anything does.

oh and the insomnia Could have something to do with it (some have said)
and infact i get it alot, but I'm not sure that i can attribute it to an external spirit, most of the time I'm having racing thoughts, but every once in a while Im just restless for no particular reason... gets on my nerves quite a bit.

First things first, go talk to your doctor about the sleep issue, dont rule out that it may not be a supernatural/mystical/spiritual/ other worldly issue at all!
Find out what they think and follow any and all advice they give till you've exhausted all options, you should be able to sleep if you do.

If all fails, perhapse try additional things like performing blessings on your living space and see how that turns out (like I did lol) but even if you do encounter anything during a blessing dont let it stop you.

Additionally, meditation helps, infact for me just finding the time for meditation is theraputic, since I'm quite buisy these days.

don't ask me why, but spiritual entities, like what in your case could be a Djinn, are often attracted to people who are undergoing something like a kundalini awakening. just like they are often attracted to adolescents. i guess they find it easier to manifest themselves around them. or something.
