The grass that grows over a grave?

First off let me start by saying that I know nothing about anything.

My father died a couple months back. Today was the first time I visited his grave since I watched them put him there. As I walked through the cemetery I noticed that I was able to tell where a casket was underground by the rectangular shaped patch of earth above it. However I also noticed that some graves had thicker grass over them than what grew where the wasnt a grave and some graves just had a barren patch of earth with no grass at all above them. Does anybody know why or if that may mean something?

I have a theory, but I can't give you a straight answer to it. Good energy promotes life, and bad energy could promote death. Maybe the spirits of the people with the patches of grass don't care about this world enough. Or maybe for the reality side, maybe that patch gets too much sun or something or was cut too low.

I'm sorry about you father, and I hope everything goes well for you and your family.

It could have something to do with the fertility of the topsoil the grass is growing in, it could be better oxygenated.

I used to work in a cemetery.

Chances are nothing is going on here other than soil content, amount of sun/shade, waterfall, all the regular things that grass needs to grow or die. The dirt on top is always new, sometimes they bring it in from elsewhere, so the grass takes a while to come back and sometimes it doesn't by itself and has to be planted. So the end result is a lot of differnent looking grass breeds and health levels, which is what you should expect coming from a place that they dig up all the damn time.

As for "negative and positive" energies of the dead....you will know that stuff when you see it. This isn't it.

Also, your father isn't in the cemetery, just his body. Sorry you guys had to part ways, but what a courageous man he is to go on into the unkown before us all!
