Past Life Memories coming back.

This is so interesting! I am working to resolve traumas with a therapist, and in the process unleashing the power of my mind. I always had a very keen memory and I've had flashbacks of being an infant. A little while ago I was working out a process, a dialogue with my unconscious and the universe, and suddenly this image came to mind that felt like a memory that I had forgotten. Like a distant dream, but vivid...now I can't verify it but I would like to explore this memory and why it occurred. I was on an island, with darker skin, possibly latin america. There was a sail boat, I had an affair with white men who were maybe European. I remember they had knowledge of this great Concept, God, and were spreading it to us. We were in awe of them because of their books and technology like boats and maybe writing tools. It could not have been too long ago. Then I remember sorrow? This man, was a sailor, I liked him and we had grown apart. I remember he was traveling or perhaps something horrible happened and he couldn't come get me. He was going to come to the island...costa rica? And bring me with him to his place, or live with me...either way, there was a lot of traveling and we wrote letters or I dreamed of him. Anyways, my therapist and I did eye movement integratioon and it opened up so much in so short time.

I want to continue to unlock my past.

How very interesting indeed, but did you notice anything familiar about the gentleman? Or feel that you have seen him before?
I personally am a strong believer of reincarnation.

I need to work on it a bit more, but I have a hunch it relates to a connection I have currently with someone.

It is said that all of the people you know in this life, you've known in another... for better or for worse, your enemies, your friends, your loved ones...

If anything you can always write all the juicy details down and sell it to a publisher... you can really make bank on saucy romances

Always be aware that sometimes it could be that you have information that is in your sub-conscious and your ego-conscious is trying to make sense of it (thus past life memories). So I could have been 2 years old and looking at my hands while watching a documentary on ireland. I could also remember a past life where I killed someone as a celtic bard and then think about how guilty I felt and thus looked at my hands.

Real past life memories have a tendency to change a person's life entirely for the rest of their life. If it doesn't have this kind of impact, then it isn't a past life memory.

Almost like... don't get ahead of yourself and start making it too fantastic whatever you think you remember -- BUT is there a reason you feel like this is building up to this point?

Like there's all kinds of signs that provide clues to yourself, but having forgotten them, are they really what you think them to be?

What if not everyone had the best experience based on their conscious...
What if instead of you being the islander in a past life -- you're were the person watching this romance... jealous and wanting to covet this beautiful scene... maybe something happened where you destroyed it -- and now you remember only what you wanted...

I don't think that could be true... but it's food for thought...
Maybe it has nothing to do with the scene at all!

Best to just go with what your gut tells you though, what you think happened in the scene... how it made you feel.

I think ultimately even if it is sub-conscious, it could be useful. The sub-conscious is concerned about survival and transcendence. Transcendence is Love and that comes from discovering truths, sex, loving others and humanitarian acts of kindness. It is in the state of Transcendence that one can achieve Gnosis - unity with their Higher Self. It is the source of all magick and miracles.

A ''past life'' about being a witch and being burned may help you feel strength in yourself - for you died being true to yourself. It could also be used as a means of also showing that people tend to look at the outside. Either way, there are lessons which can help you in survival.

Im researching reincarnation at the moment.
From what I have learned is that our soul is born once and when we die, we leave our boby and take another's body...
Now your soul is an energy of its own and cannot be destroyed, so it's in our nature to find the path back to where our soul came from.
Someone told me that there is three paths back to the divine, until our soul finds that path, then we can be part of the source that makes us a whole.
So I do believe that those memories could be from your past life and they could also be messages to help you find your path. Those of us that have been reincarnated and seek knowledge are more connected to the divine path to seek the truth. Just listen to your intuition.

I Personally don't believe in the concept of Reincarnation, but may have an idea of what this is.

There are many different talents one can posses, but there are only 3 knowledge talents. They are the diviner, scryer, and pensive. The pensive is a person who has the ability to see the past, or gain insight into the past by tapping directly into memories of the dead.

This case doesn't happen very often, but you are showing sure signs of being a pensive.

The knack of the pensive is associated with being an Elementalist of Autumn, (its an occult personality type) and are bound to the elements of earth (primary) and air (secondary).

If you would like to follow the path of the elementalist, I can offer some council in it's practice.

(Normally there are a series of tests that must be done to find your talents, but yours are clear enough. There is only one known type of elementalist with that capability, so congratulations!)

(Note that this is a talent of yours because this achievement was reached without casting a spell or ritual. This means that if you ever should decide to practice a spell entailing the pensive, it will be more powerful.)

I agree that many are natural born talents. With my PLs I find that they're usually hidden in my dreams. Its taken time but I've picked up on ways to separate them from the rest of the dreaming mess.
