The Cult of Saturn
Okay so lately ive been reading about The Black Cube. In Judaism Jews wear a black cube on their forehead when they pray called a Tefelin, and in Islamic Religion large crowds walk around this enormous black cube that is outdoors. also when the black cube is unfolded it makes a cross, connecting it to Christianity as well. Now the God of Saturn is supposed to be represented by this black cube, and the God of Saturn is El, the same God Christians and Jews worship. Now their is also a German Occult Secret Society Called The brotherhood of Saturn and there is a book about them called Fire & Ice: Magical Teachings of Germany's Greatest Secret Occult Order. In some of their rituals they make appelations or invocations to a God who's name is very similar to Jehovah, and other bible God names. The Romans worshipped a God called Janus, who had two faces, one light and one dark, just like the bible God who says he creates both good and evil in the bible. Saturn is the God of Matter and the God of Judgement. Basically the enemy of spiritual freedom and truth. The Gnostics were burned at the stake by the Catholic church and they believed the bible God was the devil. Does the ROMAN Catholic church worship this God? Is montheistic religion dirty because it worships this God? Is This the true devil? This being seems to have many faces, but my biggest concern is....what is it's role in suppressing the awakening of mankind and which religious and esoteric groups are on it's side.

I'll look into the black cube. THanks. I have never heard about that symbol. Black symbols should not be taken lightly.
I don't know what God is what. I navigate forces, ethics and philosophy without being sure whether the problem is the religion or the followers. There is definitely some wicked and serious injustice in the world though and it can come from certain groups of people.

one of my favorite sayings by the gnostics of old is their saying "wake up" or in other words free your bonds. i believe every one who believes in god believes in the same god just with there own way of doing that whether culture or personal.

The standard mythology is that Saturn was a tyrannical father overcome by Lord Zeus. The name of Saturn was later transformed to, 'Satan,' (see the linguistic similarity.) The Christian Churches make a great deal of use of the Father image, as well as the image of God as a martyr (that would be Jesus.) However, I think it would be a mistake to directly link Saturn to either the Father God of Christianity, or to the Satan of Christianity. The sources are there, but the images are distant from those sources.
In terms of Gnosticism, Gnostics almost certainly looked to the tyrannical father image of Saturn for their inspiration for their image of the Demiurge. Gnostic philosophy was concerned heavily with, 'dark vs. light,' but also, 'freedom vs. tyranny.' In fact, ancient Gnosticism probably drew more directly from the Roman Saturn than Christianity currently does, because Gnosticism was prevalent and died out before these contemporary interpretations of Christianity formed.
