Can you do the same sigil again?

Hi everyone. I did a sigil, i fired it. and worse of it all i cant forget the intent, because im constantly wishing for this thing to happen (Its a love one). I was obcessed with it before. I know its not an excuse. Now im wondering if its ruined because i cant forget the intent...

I was successful before with some sigils, however it was nothing to do with love and i was able to not think about it all the time.

Is it possible to redo this sigil? is it magically correct to do it again?? tks

Yes, it is possible. As to whether it's magically "correct" to do it again, well, that depends. There are a whole host of factors involved with things of this nature (issues relating to love and money are often among the trickiest workings), so as long as you're okay with whatever you're intending I'd say that it is correct. Keep in mind, however, that every single working I have ever heard of relating to love (sigilized or otherwise) has ended badly. This is not to say that if you are involved with someone and things are going well that you can't help things along, but it really should be mutually beneficial and not manipulative if you want it to last. These things definitely can work, but as I stated earlier, it almost never ends well. You may also be aware of this, and might be blocking it unconsciously too. The point of using sigils (as you probably know) is to distract the conscious mind while the unconscious does the work. You'll need to come up with some ways of forgetting about it (probably impossible in this case) or at least diminishing your preoccupation with the situation. Obsession does not help you here, but a strong emotional investment is key to your success. Being obsessive can also lead to you doing dumb things (maybe casting sigils for a specific love interest is one of them?), but that's not for me to judge.

In any event, clear your mind and focus to the best of your ability, create and fire you sigil, and rather than trying to force yourself to forget about your love interest, treat the situation like you would if remembering a dream you once had, for example. In this way, you're not forcing the idea, but you're minimizing its impact on your thoughts. Try to think of it as an imaginary game, and maybe create different symbolism to go with it. Latch on to other associated thoughts that come with the primary thought regarding your love issue, and latch on to thought associations that come up with those, etc. This can take your mind further and further away from the source of your troubles here whenever you think of your original intent. It's also a strong possibility that 1) nothing has happened YET and/or 2) You're not supposed to be doing this in the first place, and that's why it doesn't work. Again, these are things you need to think about, as it's not my place to say whether one should or should not do a thing. Just remember that you'll have to deal with whatever comes down the pike as a result.

in alot of cases, forgetting comes natural to us after employing an act of intent. But in a situation where you have to meet certian material conditions that have everything to do with your intent then forgetting isnt even possible. For example, if you were to sigilize for a cash award, such as a lottery or sweepstakes, you would most definately would remember your intent each time you purchased your ticket. The lust for results would be apparent each time you joined the sweepstakes for cash winnings. When it comes to magick you only need to believe the impossibilites of your possibilities only once, without that apparent lust that follows after a period of time that the universe takes to respond. It is better to remember that if the energy left you at the time of casting, during a state of gnosis the universe is going to bring the results about that you seek. This is at times easier said than believed, but even you the caster of your intent understood and believed the same thing, else you would not have made the push.
But the enemies of time and logic has entered the arena of the magician deflating his ego, to such a degree that he may no longer believe, but remember the casting is behind you, it is in the past and all the ingredients needed to bring your intent about was present at that time. I often repeat to myself that time is the only enemy to magick, what does this say about the coupling with logic, the two alone or together can deconstruct any paradigm of any type of belief. Logic makes no sense in the world of the magician, you didnt believe the randerings of such prior to your casting, so why shall you give it room today. If logic was at all any value then every person would be a magician, and knowing firstly this is not possible because of their way too logical thinking. To question the science of your quantum physics experiment and trying to remeasure your mathematical, scientific calculations in the reconjuring those same energies maybe a challenge. Im not saying it cannot be done, its just the temperature of their value in the casting wont feel the same, since you beat them with lust. To replace belief with lust and push it back into belief, is akin to, loving someone, only to hate or despise them later only to try and love them again later. Its a hard fight and one most certianly short of its own victories. time will bring your intent to fruition, and I would only advise to find away to release those lustful thoughts another way, reprogram the paradigm so that it includes that anticipation from your current location. And even it may take also a period time our human side will eventually forget anyway because that is just how life is. If you must redo a sigil I would create a different one with same intent, dispose of, or send it differently than before........but I would just wait, unless it is a.crises magick I would just let the universe work it out. It is rather huge, and I would reaffirm that in my meditations, telling and reminding myself of this that the wheels moving the universe is bigger than the system we are apart of......keep the faith.....

If you're having trouble with the forgetting part of sigilization due to the subject matter, the simplest solution is to drop the sigil method and use some other spell instead. This is the strength of the Chaos Magician, that if one paradigm is unsuitable for a specific goal, he can use a different one instead. You are never limited to one style of magic. It seems to me that a love spell (a properly ethical one that doesn't interfere with free will, I hope) would be better suited to a witchcraft based paradigm, like herbalism or new age crystals, rather than the rather impersonal and mechanistic AOS method.
