I have been very happy to have comet mcnaught to watch the travel ofArachne happens during gemini and is ruled by a spidery fissure on mercury as well as the burned out moon vulcan of merc.
I believe there are two other undiscovered ether signs, that happen in aquarius and leo, as there are 4 elements. any one have any ideas?
there are also 4 types of ether...ether itself, sound light and electricity.
attached are two great beautiful pics of mcnaught and its trail for the year.
mcnaught was the first alcohol (canadian whisky) that we stole from my parents liquor cabinet (I don't drink hardly at all now)
with my scorpio friend who does have a taste for whisky
Hello; I am new to this forum and have strong interst in your subject. I have been born in the orphicus period 4th December ( 23rd November - 7th December ) and though not an official astrologer have been studying the occult for many years, including Astrology on the sides.
I have an intersting understanding which I will outline here, not from any book and it has taken many years to arrive at.
There are 14 signs. The regular 12 primary ones we all speak of, known also as the wheel, and also 2 extra signs - the spider gate called Arachne between Taurus and Gemini and Orphicus the serpent bearer located between Scorpio and Sagitarius.
The milky way runs through the middle of these last two signs and is called the axle, or hub. The other 12 signs rotate about the axle as the wheel. This whole mechanism is part of the galaxy we know as the milky way which is effectively a giant celestial clock. The earth, dispite what many believe does not rotate through the presession of the equinoxs, but rather retrogrades back and forth through a part of the zodiac as does a pendulum on a grandfather clock. The earth is the smaller part of the pendulum to a massive celestal clock which is counterbalanced also by saturn ( chronus ) the time keeper and master pendulum ( and associated with the heavy metal lead which is needed to make a pendulum operate). Saturn sets the time zones and periods for the fates and destinies around the zodiac clock which our sun travels.
The central sun in the milky way is the pivotal point for the whole clock mechanism to rotate around. The whole mechanism runs on gravity. Another part of the clock which is very important is the rotation of the polar star system Ursa Major, also known as The big bear, or Big Dipper. This star sign sets the inside timing for the clock, which lines its cardinal points of the tail at the 4 master quarters, creating what is known as the swastika.
At December 21st 2012 the clock is alighned and the tail of the bear is at its lowest point in the sky nearest the horizon. At this point the great gate opens when the alignment of the dark hemisphere of the milky way with its central sun falls into alignment with our own star or sun.
All planetary alignments such as those from 1978, 1982 and 5/5/2000; etc - are nothing more than the hands of the celestial clock alligning at the 12 o'clock position or some other hourly point. No axis shift here, any more than a clock on the wall will tip over when all the hands are aligned to the 12 o'clock position.
The four elements you speak of are the four signs called the - eagle / scorpio in the west, the lion also known as leo in the south, the water bearer aquarius in the north and the bull known as the taurus in the east. They have much older names as well. These four signs are the four master watchtower points used in magick and have nothing to do with the actual operation of the clock. they are equivalent to the 3, 6, 9 and 12 oclock positions. I hope this clears up some questions. For further information on this email me at > [email protected].
