    Default The kabbalah trees

I've been doing some research on kabbalah and looked at the sephiroth.

one tree is the positive side which starts from the Malkuth all the way up to Kether

then we have the qlippoth which is an inverted tree of sephiroths and relate to the negative side or the underworld as they call it. All the chakras have similar names except in the qlippoth i think they are renamed. I have also seen a video which indicates that there are about 11 trees in total.

Read 2 books on kabbalah today, very interesting reads for sure. 1 of them had the idea of putting out a perception of "good" and the other one seemed to have "satanic" influences and seemed to be less well written. The 2nd book also seemed to be riddled with contradictions and hypocritical points.

Would you be kind enough to list the name of both books please.

    Default The kabbalah trees

Are the trees you talk about like the world-trees of myth?
Does the last part of the word kabb(alah) indicate any connection to the god-head in Islam?
    Thank you.

I'm not sure it has anything to do with Islam. As far as I'm aware kabbalah is a jewish israeli teaching. But it is actually spread throughout the many religions.

The basic idea of the Qlippoth is that the Jews believed it was a necessary evil in order for Creation to happen. The light of God had to be separated in order for the creation to happen. This was the whole ''fall of man.''

Kabbalah views ''separation'' as evil and seeks to unite man with God. The Qlippoth are no longer considered needed and thus were burned up in the brilliance of the light of God. They fell into the Abyss, but still retained a fraction of that light. The Qlippoth seeks to further isolate the spark of divinity/consciousness of man in order to make him into a God.

Following either path has its' perils. I journeyed to Binah and then advanced no more. Then I journeyed all the way to Thaumiel in the Qlippoth and beyond.

If you go to Scribd.com, Liber HVHI talks a lot about the Qlippoth. I used to know a really good kabbalah website but I can't find it anymore. Really, it is just the opposite. Where as Chokmah reveals the wisdom of God, the Qlippoth sphere confuses it. However, both spheres provide wisdom except Chokmah is External and the other is Internal. The internal wisdom allows one to create temporary order out of the confusion, instead of establishing the order of God.
Those who Fall will find their Heaven
    and will always be adored.
