    Talking cornish hen

cornish hen is a rich and interesting member of the poultry family that is a nice alternative to the weekly chicken dinner.

    marinade
    orange juice
    sprite
    soy sauce
    4-5 pepper corns

marinate overnight. flip over in the morning so both sides are thoroughly marinated. put over to 400F, cook inside a casserole dish. cut mushrooms, add to cornish hen plus about a quarter inch worth of the marinade inside the casserole dish.

side dishes that are good with this are asparagus and some nice parmesean bread

That sound great, now if I could get someone to cook it for me, it would look good too. If I did it, it would turn into "Blackened cornish hen".
Can we say "Microwave" my best friend, (in the kitchen).

I have tried many things, snake, eel, sushi, jellyfish (ugh!), turtle, and many fruits and spices that americans have never heard of, but I have never had cornish hen. I should try it one day.
