Tarot Card and divination Problem

I use tarot cards in times of trouble..but it always seems to give me the answers that i already know...If i know or think a relationship will go bad. I pick a 3 of sords. But i already knew it was gonna be bad. I mean the tarot likes to give me readings on how i feel. ANother example i did a reading on me and my freind... and it told me that my freind was tricky... but i already know that.

The Tarot often reflects what's on our minds currently which is why we as readers need to learn to discard our own biases toward a situation as best we can. Sometimes your thoughts are simply correct.

I never give a reading for myself except at the first of every new year.

First of all Viridias is right, we need to learn to empty our heads of thoughts on the specific matter while doing the reading, otherwise the cards would be a simple reflection of them.
Second, the fact the a reading is shown as the thoughts in your head doesn't indicate a problem, but simply reveals that your thoughts are put in the right place.
