    Default Good witchcraft websites? Literature?

Does anyone know where I could find a website which lists some reliable witchcraft spells to do? I've searched around and found a couple but just wondering if anyone knew any really good sites. Also any literature with trusted authors who give spells on the subject would be really appreciated also, take care

The best advice I can give you is to get inventive and create your own spells. In this way your spells will be more powerful and more effective at achieving your will.

My advice is to be careful on looking at spells over the internet.
Why? Because most people don't know what they are doing or they are ''making up'' spells to look cool or something.

I'd look through books, but be careful with those too, some people are just trying to make a buck.

Here is the deal. There are at least three traditions of magic competing for the title of witchcraft. All of them have an equally valid claim but, none of them have anything remotely resembling a codified grimoire of any sort. If you find a site with spells then they are spells someone else has made or, as mentioned earlier, made up. This also extends to any literature you may find on the subject unless you come across a bona fide antique or ancient text, of which I have seen many on the subject of ceremonial magic and none on witchcraft. From what I understand witchcraft is about spellcraft on a personal level anyway. you have a framework of dogma that you work inside to create magic.

This is particularly true if you mean witchcraft in the Garnerian Wiccan tradition. Frankly Gardner fabricated every dogmatic tradition and piece of lore for Wicca which is why you won't find any ancient works relating to it. That being said pretty much any book on the subject will get you started, even, and may all that is black and despicable fall upon her wretched head as I type her name, Silver Ravenwolf. There are other witchcraft traditions but few as well documented and written about as Gardner's invention.

If it's not Wicca you're after then you may want to be a bit more specific as to which witchcraft tradition you intend to follow since they are all quite different despite some key similarities.
