You know what ever is good for you Myself I would have to think about it. It depends on whether you are embarking on your own in this as an order would not go for it I think. But everyone takes from what they feel is right for their growth and magickal path. What was once about the climate I think, frankly does not hold with anymore. So my answer would be Yes. I tend to run on sometimes. I( went back and looked at it. I think it just a different way to approach it, doesn't seem strange at all. I would try it and see how you feel about it and what comes out of the ritual. Think about it , the Cicero's took some of Crowley's invocations and reworked them so why not.

What do you think about the primary attributions to the elements: energy, abstraction, adaption, and fixed? Do you know about any other attributes I should be meditating on when I am calling upon the elements to banish or invoke them?

I frankly think one does not go without the other. It is as if the air we breathe has taken on a bit more oxygen. Always add mutable attributes as fixed sometimes does not stay fixed. The elements will give and the elements will taketh away, but if shown respect and add the right attributes you make a good gumbo so to speak. Keep doing what you are doing but always protect yourself and never take anything for granted.
