Post Have you herd of the Necro Lord?

I was exploring the otherplace using a technique simmiliar to astral projection, when I came across something. It gave of death energy like nothing I would have thought possible. It expelled me, not just away from it, right back through the plains and barriers, and I returned with such force I fell of my chair. Judging by the amount of screaming my daimon did, it was a powerful force that forced me out. But before I was expelled, I caught a name or a title I don't know wich. Necro Lord.

    Astral Eye,
I have heard of many names of the Lord of the Necropolis, or its geographical and historical variants.
What should become apparent from the corpus of your erstwhile missive is that you have not gained enough will power to pass the gates of the Western gatekeeper. That you got bounced back speaks to me that your goal is to empower your will to pass said gate.
I believe that Magister Ford gives advise on such exercises of will empowerment in his readily available grimoirs, perhaps an adherent of his works would be kind enough to point you in that direction. I will further add that , in my opinion,if you are not quite ready to pass the western gate then you are no way ready for the revelations which are beyond your present limits of ingress/ congress.

    Best wishes and good luck,
    Ahrazura

    Red face Thanks

I am looking for knowledge, and I often go to far in search of it. I won't be going back there just yet. It would seem I miss interpreted the phrase I got. The lord of Necropolis, Necro Lord, they are simmiliar and I was panicked.

PS: I keep feeling sudden chills since my "bounce back". Is this normal. It's not like a normall chill, it feels deeper.

    And thanks once again.

If what you are describing is true, you better start banishing every chance you get. I've seen this before and it didn't turn out so well. You should hang up your "travels" for a while and just research and focus on self preservation. This is just my opinion but it comes from experience. Those chills can either be followed by fever, or complete madness. I've witnessed both. Learn to crawl before you decide to climb mountains.

Red face Thanks for the aid

I have felt rather perculiar, almost like when I forget to ground after casting a circle. I'll take your advice. My daimon has been quite, and when it appeared yesterday in one of it's favourite forms, a raven, it's wing was broken. Will it be okay?

    Astral eye,
Yes it is quite normal to feel somewhat strange once you get a taste of the forbidden and yet are kept from the source. I agree that you should find out all you can before your next trip toward the gate. Believe me if you will but AnimositissominA is quite correct. To go past the gate before you are balanced enough to evaluate rather than be shocked by what you find is not a good idea.
As a neophyte I went against my Magister's advise and pushed to far inside. The upshot was that I saw things about myself that on first sight made me quite unwell for a very long time. It was only by being subtly mentored that I was able to see that what the revelation was about was not what I was/am but what I was able to become should need arise. The details are somewhat personal but are part of me and excepted as such now. Once revelation is viewed by experience it becomes much easier to understand so I would say get some esoteric mileage before going deeper.
I am sorry to have to tell you but ingress does become like a drug and not going there before you are ready can become a part of will training.

    Regards,
    Ahrazura

    Red face A reason why

I didn't intentionally try to enter any gate, I just happened upon it. It's been dificult, my daimons getting worse it won't leave me, it's worried about me, but it needs to go back to it's world for a rest. Is there a spell for renewing a daimons strength? I am getting very worried.
