    Exclamation hello, im seeking guidance

    Hi my names Dakota, but most just call me Dak. i just recently came to the Revelation that im an Empath. unfortunately i feel like im not always in control of it. some times when its too much im put in pain . Boot Camp was tough... it nearly pushed me over the edge. but i dont want to just manage my abilities i want to master them. any suggestions would be great. ive had an atraction to the occult for a while but have little to no knowledge. so im taking the Plunge.

    Hello!

    My advice- shielding. If you want to be the boss of things around you, rather than them controlling you- shield yourself.

    If you're new to this sort of thing I'm guessing that you're not very familiar with shielding- basically, it's like creating a protective forcefield of energy around yourself to keep out unwanted energies and, in your case, emotions.

    They aren't necesserary totally inpermeable barriers- you can build in filters and trap doors to let in what you want when you want, and work on increasing your sensitivity in your own time and in your own way.

    There's a lot of information out there on creating shields already- I'll try to write up some of my own approach soon, if you like?

    upon recollection its always been this way. I just sorta started putting the pieces together. it can be very intense, during Boot i was surrounded by all types of ****. guys trying to commit suicide, the kind of despair and hopelessness one so rarely finds in everyday life. most of the time tho its general stuff, if someone's angry i tend to lash out even if it wasnt directed at me. that and everyone comes to me for their crap, and the worst part is i somehow feel that ive been there even if ive never experienced it. i dont really hold any beliefs aside from what the Marines instilled in me. Oh and any shielding you can recommend would be appreciated seehiah

    Hi. Try learning to understad how people feel and why, perhaps learn about phsycology. Meditate. Learn to feel what is yours and what is others. In time, you will learn to controll it natrually. Hope this helped.
