    Default need help in astral projection

    As I mentioned in another post of mine, since a few weeks, I have been writing this in my diary daily before sleeping "I always remember my dreams clearly & thoroughly" & to my surprise I was able to remember my dreams for full 3 weeks. I have read that it is very difficult to bypass the pyschic censor & remember your dreams but to me this came quite easily.
    Being satisfied with this, I started trying to astral project. Now I write this before sleeping "I will astral project easily tonight. I am well aware when I enter into sleep state" I have been doing this since 2 weeks but this wasn't working like it was working with the dream realm. Should I quit this for now & maybe try something different like gaining more control over the dream realm? Maybe trying to think of an object before sleeping & seeing it in my dreams or still pursue astral travel perhaps? Any suggestions on this?

    Sometimes the dream world can be even cooler than the astral. Here's an excercise: While dreaming, look down at the palms of your hand and remember that it is your dream. This should help "wake you up" in a sense.

    Yeah, dream recall came easy to me too. Astral Projection however, is something entirely different. There are also alot of techniques for astral projection; which one is for you can simply be a process of trial and error. I reccomend starting with the Monroe technique though.

    Viral I ll keep that in mind when i dream. When i was a kid, i remember suddenly realizing in my dream many times that i was 'awake'. However when this happened, I would wake up in a few seconds. Its as if I would realize that now I am in a dream & something is forcing me to wake up. I would try hard to stay in the dream but eventually I would wake up.
    The monroe technique though a bit lengthly, seems to be good, I will surely try that

    I think I'll keep an eye out for that book. Astral projection is something that really intriuges me, I'd love to be able to do it. As for dream recall, I can only remember chunks of my dreams, sometimes I only remember a single instant.

    333, just before sleeping write at least 10 times 'I always remember my dreams throughly & clearly' > It worked for me since the day I wrote it & always does. Let me know if it works for you. I am curious about other people's results

    There's a pagan technique my friend taught me.

    Take a red string, hang it above you where you sleep when your about to fall asleep reach for that red string and pull yourself out.

    I've been meaning to try this but I haven't the need.

    The string technique is really good for people who have trouble visualizing themselves coming out of their body.

    for me, the bset way to remember astral experiances or dreams. When you have a day off, or plenty of time. try to sleep in, the longer you sleep the more vivid your dreams and alstral experiances. most powerfull between the episodes of light sleep. add that to what you are doing now.

    Interesting! I have a diferent tehnique for astral projection that has proved successful to me in the past. For some reason i have stoped doing it few years back, but started it again now. So, when i go to sleep i relax my body slowly and completely (as in Yoga Nidra). When this is done i use a special tehnique that is good for memory and visualization: i remember events from the last to the first (i renew my day completely). And then i feel vibrations all over my body and when this is happening i just try to get out of my body. But as i stoped doing that tehnique few years back i'm right back at the beginning and it is hard to get up because there is some strange feeling that something is out there and that does not let me get up out of my body and at the same time i feel immense fear that also prevent me to get up out of my body or if i do get up i fear to open my eyes. I don't know why that is so. Meybe some of you can explain me why that is happening?
